Colleague Experience Manager

We are looking for someone who has significant experience of managing enterprise wide projects across a diverse demographic of colleagues. You are analytical and thoughtful and can use data and insight to draw together creative proposals. You will lead the way in our approach to pay and benefits and will be very comfortable in this space. You’ve probably got a background in a people function and can build relationships and rapport easily.

Colleague Experience is the result of all the interactions we have with our colleagues on their journey with Card Factory and we want it to be brilliant. This role will map out our colleague experience, drive enterprise wide initiatives, identify improvements and define moments of excellence and celebration that reflect our culture and our values.
Role Responsibility
- Map out the colleague journey across our business considering the different colleague populations.
- Collate and analyse internal quantitative and qualitative data (KPIs; Survey; Forum Feedback: Exit interviews; focus groups) to make recommendations on improving and enhancing the colleague experience.
- Collate and analyse external data to ensure we are consider current thinking and trends to differentiate us from other employers
- Spend time in our stores, warehouse and distribution centres to understand and experience all colleagues working environments
- Act as the project owner for our colleague survey to drive action and make improvements – tracking engagement
- Own our pay and benefits strategy using data to make recommendations on how we reward our colleagues.
- Build a programme of recognition that reflects our values and culture to care about our colleagues and to celebrate life’s moments.
- Bring our brand to life through colleague moments of truth
- Lead on key enterprise wide projects across colleague journey for example Induction and Onboarding
- Owns our approach on colleague listening and feedback
The Ideal Candidate
- Someone who can easily build rapport and relationships across the whole business
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Ability to collate and analyse data to make commercially viable recommendations
- Ability to think strategically and build and deliver plans at enterprise level
- Is effective at building cross functional relationships and delivering through matrixed teams.
- Can communicate and influence multiple audiences and is confident in building relationships
- Can problem solve and think creatively, thinks laterally and drives innovation and surprise
- Engaging and passionate with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
- Can build a compelling proposition around our colleague experience
- Broad HR experience – a consultative and collaborative partner
- Experience of pay and benefits across multiple business units and colleague demographics
- Experience of writing a business case
- Can listen and understand and can get to the root of the conversation in a careful and considerate way
- Demonstrates our values in everything you do.
