HR Data Analyst - Part Time

Scope and purpose of the role 

We are looking for an HR Data Analyst to be responsible for the collation of data for all monthly, bi-monthly, annual and tri-annual reports across the HR function. This is a fairly new role within the HR team and we’re looking for someone keen to develop our existing data whilst engaging with relevant stakeholders to identify future improvements.  

This is a part-time position for 22.5 hours per week, are flexible in terms of hours of work and location.

Role Responsibility

  • Collation of data and preparation for the Companies GPGR, CEO ratio, FEC submission all compliance reporting; 

  • Working with the Payroll Manager to ensure the Company’s furlough scheme runs efficiently 

  • You will be responsible for the set-up of business-led reporting and BI for the HR function; 

  • Central management of monthly/weekly figures; 

  • Regular spots check and cleansing of data across HR system; 

  • Write reports within the HR system, maintain and update as required; 

  • Work alongside stakeholders during key projects to provide data, such as Annual Pay Review, Annual Bonus period; 

  • Liaise with stakeholders across HR and the wider business to identify key reports required by HR; 

  • Complete any preparation data for key projects such as Be Heard; 

  • Update central data with quarterly restructure information; 

  • Analyse current data practice and make thoughtful recommendations for improvements; 

  • Manage ongoing performance and development of HR systems; 

  • Understand how to simply communicate and simplify data, making it meaningful for colleagues who aren’t in data roles.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have experience working with HR Admin and Payroll teams to maintain accurate data; 

  • Will have experience producing, analysing and reporting accurate data; 

  • You will have experience in a similar role 

  • Be experienced with stakeholders and assisting with key projects; 

  • You will have strong data and analytical skills, you’ll enjoy working with numbers and making sense of complex data; 

  • Understands HR Data; including fixed, variable pay and benefits data; 

  • Advanced Excel experience; 

  • A detail orientated person who notices anomalies in data; 

  • Be comfortable to maintain confidentiality at all times.
