HR Shared Services Administrator

The HR Shared Services Administrator role will provide a comprehensive support service across the HR Team. You will provide excellent service and support, working as a team to own the administration processes and continuously looking for more efficient and effective ways of working.

Role Responsibility

  • To manage the life cycle of colleagues, i.e. starters, leavers, contract changes, absences and family leave
  • Maintain the Right to Work checks, carrying out government checks when required
  • Providing administration support to the People Development and BP functions, including but not limited to:
    • To support the co-ordination and administration of our apprenticeship scheme
    • To support the administration process of consultations and change
  • Maintain the HR systems, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Regular review and improvement of administration processes and systems, taking into account other system resources within the business and make recommendations of where improvements can be made, considering all stakeholders
  • To support the HR function with any ad hoc reporting required from the HR systems
  • Achieve annual objectives, as set by the HR Administration, Data and Benefits Manager
  • Contribute and assist with projects where required
  • Deal with and direct incoming calls, post and emails within HR, working within agreed SLA’s

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have HR Administration experience;
  • Being an advocate for great customer service internal and eternally;
  • Accurately undertaking tasks and responding to requests within Dept. SLA’s;
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times whilst complying with GDPR.
