PPC Lead

Building a centre of digital media excellence, we have a new and exciting role within the digital marketing team. This role will lead the definition, implementation and optimisation of our PPC function, driving awareness, traffic, and ultimately sales to Cardfactory.co.uk. 

Role Responsibility

  • Create and implement both Google and Bing acquisition marketing campaigns, via text, shopping and GDN strategies
  • Ownership of day-to-day account performance, quality of work across Paid Search/Shopping campaigns, and budget management
  • Optimising digital marketing budget, driving awareness, traffic and new customer acquisition
  • Identify new traffic opportunities through analysing trends, data and emerging channels
  • Work with the digital experience and digital storefront teams to optimise customer journeys from channels to conversion
  • Working with the customer retention lead to devise and implement mobile app adoption strategies
  • Stay on top of the latest techniques and trends to ensure the account, is at the forefront of change and performance
  • To lead, coach and grow a team of PPC media talent. Conducting keyword research, creating targeted keywords and writing ad copy
  • Work with finance and data team to build longer term understanding of our marketing spend to customer ongoing shopping behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

  • Able to commute to Wakefield 2 days per week (outside of current COVID government advice)
  • Energetic, focused, thought leader, team player
  • Successful track record in growing traffic and customer acquisition through digital performance channels, in particular search marketing
  • Analytical approach with strong ability for analysing data (Google Analytics, Google Ads data, behaviour data etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for delivering best-in-class Paid Search with a passion for personal and brand development
