Card Factory are ever growing and as a result of this, we are looking to expand our Merchandise Planning Team. This role, Assistant Merchandise Planner, will work at the heart of the Commercial function on the Card category. The role will focus on supporting the delivery of our growth plans through numerical and analytical thinking. Therefore, candidates should have a keen eye for numbers and a passion for celebrating life moments!

Role Responsibility

  • Line level forecasting and ordering, maintenance of line cards
  • Intake and stock management vs budget; involvement in the WSSI process
  • Range performance analysis, financial rollup and presentation
  • Weekly sales and margin reporting vs target; input into trading decisions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Excel skills
  •  Analytical & numerical
  •  FMCG Merchandise Planning experience
  •  Ability to work with a wide range of internal & external teams

This role may involve out of hours and weekend working to support the business needs and the ideal candidate will hold a full clean driving license as travel between group sites may be required.
