We are ever growing here at Card Factory and as a result of this, we are looking to expand our Merchandise Planning Team. This role, Assistant Merchandise Planner, will work at the heart of the Commercial function on the Card category. The role will focus on supporting the delivery of our growth plans through numerical and analytical thinking. Therefore, candidates should have a keen eye for numbers and a passion for celebrating life moments!

Role Responsibility

• Long lead time line level forecast and order maintenance;
• Purchase order raising, tracking and management;
• Delivering our intake and stock targets vs budget and WSSI;
• Range performance analysis, financial rollup and presentation;
• Weekly sales, margin, stock and availability reporting for trade meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

• Current or recent experience as an Assistant Merchandise Planner/ Merchandise Planning Administrator / Demand Planner within FMCG;
•  Strong Excel skills;
•  Analytical & numerical;
•  Ability to work with a wide range of internal & external teams.
