Business Analyst
Job Introduction
Are you a Business Analyst with a background in retail or supply chain? We’re looking for someone with solid knowledge of logistics, warehousing, wholesale, or EDI to help us connect business needs with smart, effective solutions.
You’ll play a key part in connecting business needs with technical solutions. You’ll lead the way in gathering and refining requirements, build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and map out business processes for both current and future states.
You won’t be working in a silo here — far from it. You’ll be right in the mix, collaborating with your functional squad, cross-functional teams, and the wider cardfactory community. Together, you’ll ensure smooth communication, uncover dependencies early, and keep projects moving in the right direction.
Your analysis will be thorough and well-rounded, and you’ll be encouraged to challenge assumptions to find the best path forward. Along the way, you’ll support development QA teams to define testing scenarios, use case and support manuals as well as conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) where required. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
We offer hybrid working, with some days spent at our friendly and collaborative head office in Wakefield.
Role Responsibility
• Lead requirements engineering aligned with strategic business goals
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite
• Map and model current and future business processes using tools like Microsoft Visio

• Assist in developing business cases by identifying technical and non-technical options
Work with development and QA teams to define testing scenarios, use case and support manuals as well as conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) where required
The Ideal Candidate
• You’re a self-starter who’s confident jumping into projects and learning as you go
• Solid experience as a Business Analyst
• Skilled in mapping processes, gathering requirements, and working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Confident leading stakeholders and driving outcomes
• Organised, great with time management, and a clear communicator (written & verbal)
• A BCS or IIBA certification? Even better!
