Business Change Support
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our Business Change team which sits within our Retail Central Operations team. Within Business Change Support you will have a keen eye for detail and provide support and assistance to all of the Business Improvement functions.
This will include, supporting the rollout of new business initiatives, supporting the development of training & communication materials. Along with challenging current ways of working, enhancing innovative thinking, driving continuous improvement.
Please note: This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Role Responsibility
Drives Customer Focus in Store:
- Supports the business improvement team to simplify in-store service by investigating and testing new technology.
- Contributes to the assessment of current in-store processes and helps to review external operations to determine how to implement changes that turn innovations into practical ways of working in the store
Enables Productivity:
- Supports with scoping, testing, creating and maintaining training and communication strategy for the business, delivering accurate and timely plans.
- Helps to identify the implications of business process changes on store process and provides feedback to the Business Improvement Team.
Maximising Sales:
- Collaborates with Business Improvement Team to understand the upcoming change program – helps to evolve in-store processes to support the changing needs of the business and challenges back to deliver on the “easier for colleague” promise
Continuous Improvement:
- Supports the Business Improvement team to ensure change is landed right, first time approach by working cross-functionally with the Training, HR, Commercial, Retail and Central Operations teams
- Supports work with the Business Improvement team to deliver new initiatives, evaluate new equipment/ fixtures and make recommendations to improve methods
- Helps to ensure that any innovations are fit for purpose, work with existing store processes and are efficient
Communicates:
- Helps develop, create and implement the communication and training strategy of new initiatives they are supporting
- Supports the Retail Store Managers, to ensure new ways of working have landed correctly
- Identifies opportunities within the training/communication plans and presents them to the Business Improvement Team for review
- Creates reports, which demonstrate to the Retail Field team and wider business how the new ways of working have landed in-store, highlighting store colleagues' engagement. Develops reports that support the Business Improvement team in making clear business decisions, on the current rollout plans
- Provides support to review update and communicate all policies and procedures that are impacted by new ways of working program
