CRM Lead (Maternity Cover) 12 month FTC

About the job

This is a great opportunity for a confident CRM Lead to join cardfactory on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Responsible for the overall health and performance of the customer base, you will develop a deep understanding of the online customer, then use this insight to shape the digital customer retention strategy, with a view to improving repeat order rates and building long-term customer loyalty.

We operate a smart working policy at cardfactory - where you can combine working from home with working at our Head Office in Wakefield.

The day to day

  • Develop a deeper understanding of our online and omni-channel customers through meaningful analysis and customer research
  • Define the overall Customer Retention vision and deliver a strategy to increase re-order rates, spend per customer and Lifetime Value (LTV)
  • Put in place a roadmap and ensure all key milestones are achieved
  • Set and manage the retention marketing budget
  • Define the customer segmentation approach
  • Oversee the creation of a multi-channel contact strategy that achieves high rates of customer engagement and loyalty
  • Work with the Marketing Team to develop an omni-channel loyalty programme to foster longer-term customer relationships
  • Understand customer behaviour, turning insights into opportunities and championing the customer
  • Manage and get the most out of our Customer Data Platform partner (XCM), ensuring they are fully briefed and aligned on our business goals
  • Continuously review and refine our marketing technology
  • Create a suite of customer performance reports
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of CRM Managers

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Customer Retention Marketing
  • Customer focused
  • Data driven
  • Substantial knowledge in CRM segmentation
  • Previous experience with loyalty programmes, preferably omni-channel
  • Experience with integrating CRM tools
  • Good knowledge of the GDPR and other data privacy legislation
