CRM Manager

Job Introduction

Great opportunity for a confident CRM Manager to join the Digital team at cardfactory.

In this role you will own and manage the CRM strategy, related projects, and communication plan for Getting Personal. Your work will enable us to foster a deep understanding of the customer base, creating meaningful segments, and optimising growth through a best-in-class email program that engages and inspires customers.

Role Responsibility

  • Define an email segmentation model and use web insights to create audiences for use in other channels such as Paid Social and PPC.
  • Collaborate with the wider business to create an email content plan that supports our key trading seasons and business goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end email process from planning and briefing design to deployment and reporting.
  • Utilise all available tools to incorporate personalisation and dynamic content such as Fresh Relevance into emails.
  • Build and manage automated email campaigns based on customer lifecycles, segmentation and predictive analytics, conducting regular reviews to enhance performance against CRM KPIs such as engagement, revenue, retention and email order frequency.
  • Create test plans to ensure continuous learning and optimisation of BAU & Automation email performance.
  • Manage relationship with our ESP (Dot Digital).
  • Ensure all email campaigns are tracked and provide regular reports on performance.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Design Team to improve email templates and create impactful and engaging content.
  • Grow email list through on-site and off-site activities.
  • Work with our Customer Data Platform partner to set-up and manage the capture and flow of data across multiple platforms and partners to facilitate deeper customer understanding and to deliver greater targeting and personalisation capabilities.
  • Support CRM Lead with projects across the lifecycle touchpoints driving an increase in engagement KPIs & shaping the future customer retention strategy
  • Define & implement a digital marketing incentive strategy to use in email and multichannel with profitability in mind

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 year’s email marketing experience
  • Solid knowledge of data segmentation and audience building
  • Expert knowledge on the technical set-up of email campaigns, including automated programmes, with experience across a variety of ESPs
  • Analytical mindset with a creative streak
  • A passion for email marketing
  • A general understanding of email marketing data privacy legislation such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions
