This role is responsible for operating the digital print engines and finishing equipment used in the manufacture of the digitally printed items at the manufacturing site for our online product offering. 

This role will involve working as part of a small team, which is added to during the peak seasons, to ensure the items produced are to the necessary quality and manufactured to the agreed timescales.

Role Responsibility

• Operation of the Xerox digital engines, UV coating machine and Duplo creaser/cutters
• Ensuring all operator maintenance is carried out on the digital engines, to ensure the required print quality
• Ensuring that the operator consumables for the digital engines 
• Extracting orders into Freeflow, to manufacture in the correct sequence to ensure they are available to fulfilment when required
• Running the finishing equipment when required to provide additional resource or support during peak periods.
• Identifying any quality issues or equipment issues to the Digital Print Supervisor in a quick and timely manner

The Ideal Candidate

• Knowledge of AX and overview of Freeflow
• Xerox trained  in the operation of the Digital Engines used to manufacture all the digital print items
• Ability to work within a small team within a busy department, and ensure that service levels are achieved
• Have a good overview and experience on the production of printed items, as well as the ancillary equipment used in the finishing department
