Due to expansion in our HR Team, we are recruiting for an Employee Relations Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the team, you will be supporting and developing our ER colleagues. If you are strong-willed with a passion for Employee Relations, this role is perfect for you!

Role Responsibility

  • Review all practices within the ER team and identify where we can streamline efficiencies and make processes easier for all stakeholders;
  • Continuous review and development of policies, processes and procedures and practices;
  • Escalation point for complex or risky cases and making decisions where necessary;
  • Responsible for overall team workload;
  • Support on ER technology improvement and continuously seek to automate tasks and eradicate waste;
  • Work with the people and business partners to build capability and address trends;
  • Dealing with Settlement agreements, pre-conciliation and employment tribunals;
  • Ambassador for customer service and SLA’s from within HR for service to the field and other stakeholders;
  • Lead on projects involving people changes and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders;
  • Develop quality ER reporting processes and ensure that the HR Director and other stakeholders have data and insights to make business decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will have employee relations experience;
  • Some management experience is ideal;
  • You will be strong-willed and enthusiastic;
  • Some employment tribunal experience;

This role may involve out of hours and weekend working to support the business needs and the ideal candidate will hold a full clean driving license as travel between-group sites may be required.
