HR Business Partner, 6 month fixed term contract, from £50,000

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the world of post-acquisition integration. Following the recent acquisition of an online business, we need you to support leaders to help guide the smooth separation and integration process into the cardfactory family.
This is a broad and influential role where you will partner manager and senior leaders to drive the People agenda and play a central part in building a positive and consistent colleague experience during this crucial period.
This 6 month fixed term contract can be available on a part time or flexible working arrangement. We operate a hybrid working model, combining some days working from home and some at our offices in Bristol.

What you’ll do
- Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver an operational people plan
- Lead the transition of key people processes, including recruitment, performance, reward, talent and succession planning looking for synergies and opportunities for alignment
- Champion and embed new ways of working that support a scalable and efficient people model
- Engage with leaders to build people management and leadership capability through hands on coaching
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business and be a trusted adviser
- Work with the Communications team to ensure change is effectively delivered and well-understood
- Support organisational design initiatives that drive growth and talent development
- Lead the successful delivery of the integration plan, enabling support from a centralised HR Shared Service
What you’ll need
- Proven experience in a business partnering role within HR ideally in a commercially focused multi-site retail/online/digital/fulfilment/ business;
- Demonstrate the ability to work at pace through a high volume of work, balancing immediate requests; and project work;
- Ability to own and lead projects including coordinating and managing project teams through collaboration and strong stakeholder management
- Strong communicator with an adaptive style for differing audiences
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
Preferable:
Be an experienced Business Partner, preferably within an online/digital and fulfilment business
