About the role
Reporting to the Customer Director, the Head of Insights and Data is responsible for leading and managing all insights and data analytics for Card Factory plc to provide a single customer view, enabling the business to make informed, high-quality decisions.
Role Responsibility
- The Head of Insights and Data will lead and manage all aspects of insights and data for Card Factory plc.
- Responsible for managing research projects, you will provide guidance to the business on key insights and appropriate strategic responses.
- You will develop, lead, and manage all brand and customer tracking to measure impact and provide input into the company's Balanced Scorecard.
- Leading the customer insight and data strategy for the business and all associated analytics, you will ensure compliance of Card Factory plc with GDPR and other legal requirements around data gathering, storage, and use.
- You will provide timely insights and data updates to the Exec, Board, and Senior Leaders in the business.
- You will lead, manage and develop the Insights and Data Team.
- You will manage key agency relationships (research, data analytics, or data storage agencies) and the insights and data budget.
The Ideal Candidate
- In-depth experience of leading insights and data teams at a senior level, either within an agency or multi-site business environment.
- A strong strategic thinker with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Experience and understanding of the legal framework around GDPR, customer data gathering, storage, and use.
- A good communicator who can write and present reports and is highly numerate with a deep understanding and experience of data and analytics.
- Highly organised with the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team and budget management experience.
