Printcraft is part of Card Factory plc, a retailer with over 1000 stores nationwide. Printcraft manufactures the groups UK greetings cards, wrap and POS for stores. It is a forward-thinking business with the state of the art equipment operating a large site 24/7, we produce around ¼ billion items per annum.

Scope and purpose of the role

To operate various large sheet-finishing machines to include foiling / embossing machines to their optimum. This role is working on a 3 shift working pattern, working earlies, lates and nights. An excellent understanding of large sheet finishing of greeting cards along with a good eye for detail is require.

Role Responsibility

Key responsibilities for this role will be:

• Operators are multi skilled to operate different machine and must be able to foil and emboss
• Operators need to have a practical approach and be confident at problem solving
• Excellent team working skills with a good attitude
• To be able to communicate at all levels
• Good level and high standards of house-keeping and Health & Safety within the department

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have;

• Excellent Knowledge of large sheet  finishing equipment
• Excellent practical and technical skills
• Experience of operating state of the art large machinery
• Must be able to work to tight deadlines
• Manual Handling
