Pay Per Click Executive

Job Introduction

Getting Personal, now based in Wakefield, is a market-leading online personalised gift retailer and part of the Card Factory Group. Created in November 2005 with a pioneering personalised calendar, Getting Personal has experienced substantial growth and now offers over 4,000 unique personalised products across a variety of gifting and non-gifting categories. 

A new and exciting role in the digital marketing team. This job role will support the Digital Performance Manager in building, executing and measuring digital campaigns to drive quality traffic to our website and apps.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Manage PPC, Shopping and retargeting campaigns across Google, Bing and all social and retargeting networks
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, keyword research, budget caps, impression share and quality score
  • Track channel KPIs to assess commercial performance, identifying both opportunities and issues
  • Work with the digital experience and storefront teams to optimise traffic into website to increase ROI
  • Edit and review ad campaign copy and text to deliver maximum ROI
  • Proactive in seeking new opportunities through emerging PPC/CPC channels
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and trend across search marketing and paid media

Core Accountabilities and Measures of Success: 

  • Improve Paid Search Efficiency through campaign optimisation
  • Improve shopping Efficiency through developing the feed and targeting.
  • Grow paid traffic to website and apps

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must be able to commute to Wakefield at least 2 days per week
  • Energetic, focus and target drive….and a sense of humour
  • Successful track record in growing traffic and customer acquisition through search marketing
  • Working knowledge of key programs including Good Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook and Google Analytics
  • Analytical approach with strong ability for analysing data (Google Analytics, Adwords data, behaviour data etc)
  • Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for delivering best-in-class Paid Search with a passion for developing
