Our small but mighty People Development team are looking for a collaborative, emotionally intelligent People Development Practitioner to hit the ground running in this stimulating role. You’ll be joining at an exciting time for cardfactory as we strengthen our exceptional leadership development offering across all areas of the business which includes over 1000 retail stores, design studio, print facility and distribution centre. We operate a smart working policy at cardfactory, combining some days in our Support Centre in Wakefield, with some days working from home. There will be occasional travel to other regions across the UK required with this role.

Role Responsibility

Your role will provide variety, scope and depth to a number of key areas including;

  • Input into the design and development of an top class Induction and On-boarding program
  • Design and facilitation of behaviourally focused leadership development sessions
  • Design of digital and micro-learning modules and creation of multimedia content
  • Development of functional development pathways including apprenticeships
  • Management and support to the business with our Learning Management System
  • Driving a coaching culture in line with our leadership behavioural framework
  • Involvement in a range of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiatives and campaigns

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a down to earth, engaging team member with high energy and enthusiasm. Self-aware and willing to reflect, you’ll take a lead role in your personal development.

With a passion for making connections, networking, and sharing ideas; you’ll gather insights and conduct needs analysis to support the design of content. You’ll love working collaboratively in a team; providing feedback, input and insights to enhance all pieces of work.

The People Development team take pride in inspiring individuals and leadership teams across cardfactory to take a self-directed approach to learning. So you’ll need to be comfortable to challenge and coach others to unlock their potential.

Our team is welcoming, open, and supportive and we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about (and loves!) the work they do.

You’re likely to stand out if you have;

  • L3 Coaching Qualification (or be willing to obtain this)
  • Learning and Development qualification (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with digital learning e.g. Articulate Rise360
  • Expertise using the back end of a Learning Management System
