We are now looking to expand our Space, Range and Display team, by recruiting a Space, Range and Display Assistant to support the analysis and building of range plans as well as being involved with strategic business critical projects. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual, looking to develop their knowledge in a role that offers on the job training, personal growth and career opportunities, working closely with Buying, Merchandise Planners, Marketing, Finance and Demand Planning teams.
This role will also include seasonal support to the Card Planning and Allocations Team when required.
Role Responsibility
- Support the Space, Range and Display manager to optimise profit and sales through creating effective merchandising plans
- Work cross-functionally with our Buying, Merchandise Planners, Demand Planners and Operations Teams to land the merchandising briefs in store and supporting the team in achieving critical milestone
- Building and maintaining up to date merchandising plans using our Planogram software, as well as a physical range build
- Working on specific projects as required by the business to develop and build specific plans
- Assist the Planning and Allocation Lead in the planning of all card ranges on Card Manager
- Set-up and create allocations for all seasonal cards and everyday re-plans
- Printing of store plans and labels for all everyday and seasonal ranges
- Liaise with warehouse personnel and the merchandising team to obtain stock levels for store allocation planning and rack planning
- Synchronise any new plans on Card Manager for both everyday ranges and seasonal ranges
- Updating of installation and end dates for Card Manager Plans
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong Excel skills are essential, ideally at Advanced level;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential;
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver within tight deadlines;
- Able to work as part as a team as well as independently;
- Organised and methodical approach with ability to prioritise;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Experience of working in a Retails or card industry would be advantageous.
