Store Opening Coordinator

As Store Opening & Closure Coordinator, you will need to be flexible, organised, focused with a “can do” attitude.  You will support and streamline the business – wide process for delivering new store openings, relocations and store closures, ensure all activities align with our strategic goals.

We offer smart working principles, allowing the successful candidate the opportunity to work from our Wakefield offices (up to 3 days per week in the office), great links to the MI and free onsite parking, also working from home.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the business wide process of delivering new store openings, relocations and store closures
  • Attend cross functional meetings with key stakeholders to support the delivery of the plan within set programme
  • Support store teams during merchandising and close down periods
  • Arrange the handover from shop fit to retail when required
  • Place all new store kit orders with internal and external suppliers, ensuring that materials are available and dispatched on time in line with set programmes
  • Support with all logistical requirements for new, relocation and closure stores.
  • Support with CapEx costs for new, relocation and refit stores
  • Support with the preparation of compliance documents for all stores including manuals and ensuring records are kept up to date
  • Support with the preparation and submission of all statutory compliance applications in line with set programme dates to avoid any delays to the plan

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Attention to detail whilst working with speed, flexibility and agility - ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
  • Willingness and ability to make decisions within a fast passed environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and with a clearly demonstrated ability to use own initiative and deal with events and the unforeseen
