Team Leader at Card Factory

Card Factory, the UK's leading specialist retailer of greeting cards, gift dressings and party products, is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Leader to join our store. As a Team Leader you will play a pivotal tole in ensuring our store runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving store targets

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading by example to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Driving sales and maximizing store profitability.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Managing stock levels and making key commercial decisions.
  • Supporting the Store Manager with staff training and development.
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe and welcoming store environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow

Role Responsibility


We are passionate about celebrating our customers’ life moments and are now looking for a Team Leader to join our very successful Card Factory family to help fulfil this.

With a real focus on customer experience and operational excellence, our Team Leaders play a key part in driving the success of our stores. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting your Store Manager in their goals to delivering commercial growth and developing a team culture of putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. You will lead the way for our store teams, not only in the absence of the Store Manager but leading the team to deliver great standards and exceptional service every day.

  • You will be able to demonstrate a good leadership skills
