Scope and purpose of the role

We have a number of roles covering both skilled operators and trainee roles that we are looking to appoint. The role is to operate various large sheet-finishing machines to include foiling / embossing and die cut machines to perform at their optimum, while maintaining our high standards and customer and brand satisfaction. This role is working on various shift patterns and will include working night shift at some point in the rota and possibly continental shift  pattern if required.

Training – We have a successful and proven training programme in this department which will be fully funded and ultimately will deliver a successfully candidate who will become part of our team running modern equipment and rewarded with the benefits associated with a qualified role.

The estimated time of training will be candidate dependant but estimated to be around 12-18 months.

Role Responsibility

• To operate our high production print finishing machines which will include hot foil stamping, automated embossing and die cutting.
• To have practical approaches and confidently problem solve, as part of a team and individually.
• Maintain a good level and high standards of house-keeping and Health & Safety within the department.
• Consistently working towards improving our standards and customer satisfaction
