Printcraft is part of Card Factory plc, a retailer with over 1000 stores nationwide. Printcraft manufactures the groups UK greetings cards, wrap and POS for stores. It is a forward-thinking business with the state of the art equipment operating a large site 24/7, we produce around ¼ billion items per annum.

Role Responsibility

Key responsibilities for this role will be:

Cleaning

• Provide a service in the canteen areas to correctly load the dishwashers, program cycle, and empty dishwasher, tidying away crockery and cutlery, ensuring the canteen is adequately tidied away at the end of the break times
• Clean kitchen area including surfaces, fridge and microwave
• Ensure the welfare facilities are fully stocked with toilet roll and hand wash and these are kept clean and tidy throughout the day
• Clean the welfare facilities, including fixtures and fittings, to ensure they are appropriate for use
• Empty the waste bins from the welfare facilities and canteen area to the designated collection points
• Dust / damp wipe ledges, window sills, cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments
• Clean internal windows on a regular basis
• Ensure the floors are kept clean, mopping and hoovering on a regular basis, and removing ad hoc stains where applicable
• Ensure the main entrance, stairways and walkways are kept tidy and clean, wiping down surfaces regularly and keeping the floors clean
• Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time

General

• Use only approved cleaning materials and in accordance with manufacturers printed instructions
• Be aware of the Health and Safety implications of cleaning, and ensure you work to Company guidelines in relation to Health and Safety
• Be responsible for building and office security where you have been issued with Company keys

• Previous cleaning or equivalent experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
