Modern Workplace Analyst (Workplace Integrations)

cardfactory are looking for a Modern Workplace Analyst to join our growing IT Team. The individual in this role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our physical environments and the logical tools  used by the business in its day-to-day roles and functions.

By leveraging expertise in cloud platforms, low-code and automation tools, this role will strive to enhance the Digital/Modern Workplace ecosystem. Working across the business this role will engage colleagues to understand the day-to-day operational processes and how through design, development, delivery, the business can simplify or automate those processes in line with a modern Digital Workplace.

The position is based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, just off the M1, with free parking, and offers a flexible, hybrid way of working. However, all colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1 to 2 days per week, with the expectation of added attendance when needed.

Role Responsibility

  • Create a roadmap for automation and low-code tech, aligned with business needs and stakeholder consensus.
  • Engage with the business to evaluate current processes and identify improvements through automation and low-code solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to pinpoint and support changes in business processes through technology.
  • Produce and update documentation such as designs and deployment procedures to foster the adoption of supportive technologies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine the integration of business tools continuously.
  • Establish support processes and SLAs for automated and low-code processes, in collaboration with the Service Desk.
  • Foster internal champions to drive the adoption of digital and modern workplace practices.
  • Work with business partners to select appropriate Modern Workplace tools, and create a cost model and demand plan.
  • Align with business, data, and technology architects to ensure tooling supports other architectural frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrated experience in technology service delivery, colleague engagement, and a passion for innovation.
  • Proficiency in automation, code development, low-code tooling, integration methods, and cloud technologies.
  • Background in working within large corporate environments with significant technology-driven change investments.
  • Capable of understanding, visualizing solutions, and resolving complex and novel situations.
  • Skilled in building and leveraging relationships across business areas to support solution delivery with colleagues and third parties.
  • Competent in facilitating and presenting complex issues and recommendations to stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels and the ability to influence decisions both internally and externally.
  • Enjoys networking and proactively developing key internal and external relationships.
  • Analytical and systematic problem-solving approach, with creativity, the ability to innovate, and a solid understanding of data and functional analysis.
  • Ability to motivate others and consistently maintain a positive, supportive attitude.
